As a black woman I have found a whole new culture around the texture of my hair.l My hope with this room is to meet, learn and share information and hair styles with those who wear their natural hair😊✊🏾

👍 I have been wearing locs for ten years and loving it!! I wish that I had started earlier.
Amen. My hair is so nappy I use to break combs all the time so I just let it loc up. I am so happy that I owe my own business so I do not have to deal with the corporate drama.. I am not the one for drama.. I am so happy with my locs it is so FREEING for me... #hapynappy 😊🧘🏾♀️🍓
Beautiful picture of you and your Sis! I wear my hair in a natural tiny fro, when I first did the big chop and let it grow out I called it “the bush”because it grew wide and is thick, ‘tick mon! It broke a few Afro combs… so frustrating…It would not fall down, just straight out wide and took a lot of work. When I added corporate work to my teaching job and a few years went by I went to this tiny fro I had because it was fast and easy, and one more reason too… for another time. I found a black owned company for the products I use in my hair and she is reasonable, I love to support small businesses and black owned ones whenever I can. I think at different seasons in our life we have different reasons for our hairstyles but we should always value our decision to take good care of our hair and body and keep both in good health!
